It’s been a while since I last presented on graphic design and related principles to a student affairs audience. Although I am not formally trained in the area, I do have enough working knowledge to translate some of my own successes into practical and actionable tips for practitioners. Above you’ll find the slides from my ACUHO-I Business Operations Conference presentation today as well s some additional helpful resources below.
Traveling to the UAE was an amazing experience. It’s a country that has a unique blend of the traditional and the modern. The contrast is fascinating. There is also the wonder of the breathtaking structures that have been built there over the past two decades: from the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khlifa, to the gargantuan opulent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It’s a truly unique place.
My friend and colleague, Dr. Laura Pasquini, asked if I could do a quick video lesson for her students on how to design and deliver great presentations. The end result was the video below. Hopefully you will find this a practical, accessible, and easy how-to guide for your own work. Enjoy!
