List.ly is a social list making and content curation site. If you’re trying to crowdsource a list on something (ex. the best photography sites? your favorite eggplant parmigiana recipes? best restaurants in Boston?) then Listly can help. With Listly, you set the topic, and then add links to items you want included on your list. You can order the list however you want (curate it) but also allow visitors to vote up or down items to create a crowd-ranked lists. The lists are also social, so others can add to them. Lastly can be great if you want crowdsource “best ofs” or run contests with your students. Below is an example of my “Higher Ed and Student Affairs Bloggers” Listly.
This is a post from my ongoing effort every Wednesday to highlight apps, web services, and vendors that may be of interest to higher education and student affairs professionals. I do not work for these companies, nor do I always endorse them, per se, but am sharing them to highlight tools that others may find useful. Have an example to share? Tweet me.
