I am VERY excited to announce that I have accepted the position of Interim Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. FIT is an amazing world class institution with a vibrant student community in the heart of Manhattan. I am incredibly honored to be working there. In some ways it is a bit of a homecoming, as I will be back at a SUNY institution for the first time since I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Geneseo. I will be starting in the coming weeks.
Since this is an interim position, I plan to commute back and forth to Boston while I finish my dissertation interviews and wrap up some loose ends here in the Commonwealth. I remain on the job search, so to my amazing friends and colleagues who continue to share my information with employers and send me job listings… keep them coming.
In the meantime, expect a lot of new Instagram photos. 🙂
