Contributing to a New Book: Going Digital in Student Leadership

I’m excited to let folks in on a little secret.  I and a number of other folks will be contributing to an upcoming edition of the New Directions for Student Leadership (NDSL) Sourcebook Series titled…

Going Digital in Student Leadership

Co-edited by Lisa Endersby and Josie Ahlquist, the book will cover a variety of topics including how technology impacts all stages of the leadership journey; the influence of technology on students’ leadership development and an evolving leadership competency for faculty and staff; issues of access and accessibility; building digital leadership capacity; teaching leadership development online; digital social activism; and team building in the digital space.

You’ll have to wait until 2016 to read it, but there is an outstanding group of guest authors including Dr. Marialice B.F.X. Curran (The University of St. Joseph), Mike Ribble (Manhattan-Ogden School District), Kirstin Phelps (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), Dr. Dan Jenkins (University of Southern Maine), Dr. John Hoffman (California State University, Fullerton), Ed Cabellon (Bridgewater State University), Adam Gismondi (Boston College), Dr. Laura Osteen (Florida State University), Dr. Peter Konwerski (The George Washington University) and Mallory Bower (SUNY Oswego).

This new sourcebook comes from the leadership and vision of Dr. Susan Komives and Dr. Kathy Guthrie, who serve as the NDSL series editors. Please check out the phenomenal volumes of NDSL from Jossey-Bass!
