Presenting at the #OLCinnovate Conference Today…

I’m in New Orleans this week to present at the 2016 edition of the Innovations in Blended and Online Learning joint conference presented by OLC and MERLOT.  Known as OLC Innovate for short, this conference brings together some of the best minds in online and blended learning.  Both sponsoring organizations are leading the field and I’m proud to be a part of it.  I’ll be presenting two sessions, one opening mini-keynote that will be a lightning talk (similar to a PechaKucha) and a second, longer, featured session on my research into college student learning and development in social media spaces.

MY LIGHTING MINI-KEYNOTE

As is typically the case with these types of talks, it’s hard to get a good feel for them without the “performance” aspect.  That said, check out my accompanying page that shows off the slides and provides three challenges for attendees!

WHAT’S GOING ON BEHIND THE SCREEN WITH COLLEGE STUDENTS

My featured session will be similar to other sessions I’ve given based on my original doctoral research, but updated with some new twists.  The slides are below, and additional information about my research can be found here.
