Through the Lens of an iPhone: Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE

Traveling to the UAE was an amazing experience.  It’s a country that has a unique blend of the traditional and the modern.  The contrast is fascinating.  There is also the wonder of the breathtaking structures that have been built there over the past two decades: from the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khlifa, to the gargantuan opulent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.  It’s a truly unique place.

The following iPhoneography photos were taken during my trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.  iPhoneography is the art of creating photos with an Apple iPhone. This is a style of mobile photography that differs from other forms of digital photography in that images are both shot and processed entirely on the iOS device.  The images on this page were taken with and adjusted on my iPhone.  Because I am posting these photos after the fact, I did use my laptop to make slight cropping and color adjustments on a few of the photos.  All of these adjustments could have been very easily made with the iPhone alone, however.  Please feel free to use and share these images according to the Creative Commons License below.
